Drake Launches His Very Own Music Festival

DrakeDrake, biding his time until he gets cast as President Obama in a biopic, is launching his own music festival. The OVO Festival (which gets its name from Drizzy’s entertainment company October’s Very Own) will take place August 1 at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, the rapper’s hometown. Drake, obviously, will headline, and other acts on the lineup will include Francis & the Lights, Young Jeezy, Bun B and others not yet announced. Chances of Drake’s own festival being canceled last minute, even with the prospect of overcrowding and rioting, are slim. [Billboard]
