Katy unveiled the album cover artwork for Teenage Dream during a Ustream chat on her website this afternoon, and the inspiration clearly came from the “California Gurls” video—the art features a naked Perry, covered up by one strategically placed bit of fluff, hazily relaxing atop a pink cloud (this time with no purple wig or cheeky “oh my!” face). Katy resting in this position is no doubt the dream of many teenage boys out there.
After revealing this revealing artwork, the pop star went on to answer fan questions, but revealed this little tidbit on her sophomore album: “It will smell like cotton candy.” Yum!
Hopefully this album wont be as boring as her first.
