Last week we asked just what it is about David Archuleta that’s so easy to love (flip through our post-Idol timeline gallery of him), and his fans responded with a chorus of praise for the 19-year-old AI veteran. A few days later, his official site posted two pics of Archuleta of the set of his “Something ‘Bout Love” video shoot. The images prove that, while Archie may be growing from teenage singer to adult crooner, he’s still a kid at heart. View the photos below!
And, good news, Archies—yesterday David tweeted that he’s beginning on “some of the last writing sessions” for his upcoming LP The Other Side Of Down (due out September 14).

There is a different side of David that my family likes in him…. he is a well grounded person that doesn’t boast of his ahievements or tried to reach and chase the fame to feel good of himself…not for money at all but for the enjoyment of the talent God had given him!
