That artwork for Eminem’s Recovery album cover didn’t come without a certain chill factor. A new video clip posted to his official site yesterday shows Em as photographer Nigel Parry shot him outdoors on April 8 in downtown Detroit. It was a day that had a temperature of 33 degrees. “Oh, hey—take your time, okay? I am enjoying the weather so f***ing much, I want this to be my house for real,” the chart-topping rapper jokes while sitting in a makeshift glass house living room in Hart Plaza. Watch below. (Warning: As you just read, Eminem uses some NSFW languange, mainly the F word.)

Regarding the shoot at Hart Plaza, Marshall says, “[The glass house] symbolizes, like, what my life is like right now—you know, because of the fame but also kind of how I’ve had to remove myself from society, hold back to, I guess, conquer my demons, my addiction, and that whole thing.”

Looking forward to Part 2, Em. We’ll see where it takes us.
