Justin Bieber may not yet have lived as long as the women he frequently hits on, but that isn’t stopping Canada’s hottest teen export from penning (or posing for) a memoir. Pop journalist Bill Lamb reported today on his About.com blog that HarperCollins will release First Step 2 Forever: My Story, The Bieb’s illustrated memoir, this October. What—you thought his literary aspirations began and ended with the Justin Bieber comic book?

“Every day I wake up and count my blessings,” Justin said in a press release for the tome. “My fans have played such a large part in all of this and they help me live my dreams every day. I’m excited to share just a little bit more of my world with them through this book.”

See that? He said “my world.” What a little promoter. Harper’s Children’s Books president Susan Katz continues, “Justin’s adoring and devoted fan base that started on YouTube now follows him to packed concert halls around the world. He is a force in the music industry and we are incredibly excited to be publishing this photographic memoir of his amazing journey.”
