Listen To Kanye West And Beyoncé’s New Track “See Me Now”

Kanye West beat the Internet to the punch and leaked his own damn song this afternoon on Hot 97′s The Angie Martinez Show. Check out ‘Ye’s chipper new track “See Me Now”, featuring Beyonce and Charlie Wilson, by jumping below.

Kanye West feat. Beyonce and Charlie Wilson - See Me Now

“I might walk in Nobu with no shoes, he walks into Nobu like it was Whole Foods,” Kanye raps in what the man himself says is his favorite lyric on the new album.

This is unlike anything we’ve heard before from West since Late Registration—it’s delightfully cheery, cartoony, bright and happy, with Glee-esque background vocals to boot. Totally not what we were expecting after hearing the angry lead single “Power.” Once again, Kanye does something totally out of left field.

The track was produced by Kanye, No I.D. and Lex Luger, and it even seems to amaze Kanye. The rapper tweeted last night: “This shit I got in studio now don’t make no sense Ima leak this shit 2mrw !!! Ima go up to Angie’s!! I’m extremely serious!!!” And leak it to Angie’s, he did. A man of his word!

Kanye also confirmed the rumors that Nicki Minaj will appear on his album, and adds that he really believes Minaj “has the potential out of everybody to be the number two rapper of all time”.

And who holds the honor of being the number one rapper, according to Kanye? He shocks us once again by not naming himself, but namedropping Eminem. “Nobody will ever beat Eminem.”

Who is this modest man and what has he done with Kanye West?! While we figure that out, go download the mp3 on Kanye’s official site.

you also heard this right: “And I’mma let you finish, but I got Beyonce on the track”

not posting it bcuz of beyoncé but bcuz of the first part

  2. Michael

One of the worst recordings I’ve heard in years.

And the Nobu line is hideous. Who cares if you walk into a restaurant without shoes?
    And why would one?

Also, would this have been so quickly released if Power hadn’t been a massive
    commercial flop?

    It’s over. Go away.

After reading y’alls article, I’m damn near proud of Kanye. Hope he keeps up the good work.

Why Michael? Why? Why must you spread your nonsense views all over the internet? You are bumming me out. :(

The recording is good. Bey sounds great. The beat is what is lacking.. The beat could have changed the whole feel of this song. Not a good beat!
