When John Mayer's not busy controlling the charts, imparting sexual wisdom to the readers of Playboy magazine or raving about the benefits of social networking site Tumblr; it seems John Mayer's new hobby is skateboarding. The "Gravity" singer showed off his skateboarding "skills" for a friends (and the paparazzi) after dinner at L.A.'s Matsuhisa restaurant. Perhaps this is how J.M. is working through his writer's block (for Twitter, not music).


We don't know where the skateboard came from, but we imagine John rode it all the way to the valet stand just for kicks—which, to us, is the most "John Mayer" thing John Mayer could possibly do after dinner.
