Brandon Flowers Tries To “Swallow It” On New Track

Though we’re loving everything we’ve heard from Brandon Flowers as of late, the singer told SPIN.com that the ambitious track “Swallow It” is the song he’s most proud of on his solo album Flamingo. “There’s a fair amount of experimentation on that song, but it’s still very much a pop song,” he said. “That’s what I admired so much about bands like the Beatles. When they did experiment or go out on a limb a little bit, it was still accessible.” We have to agree that this delicate tune is somewhat of a departure for The Killers frontman—see if you concur by listening below.
