Drake Joins The Rat Pack In His VMA Promo

Picture 2It looks like MTV is going retro with this year’s batch of promos for the 2010 VMAs. Nicki Minaj sports a slightly warped I Love Lucy look in her promo for the awards fest, while Justin Bieber flashes back to 60s Beatlemania as his rabid fanbase runs after him at full speed in his. Now we have Drake channeling both Don Draper and Frank Sinatra in his beautifully shot black-and-white VMA promo. Video below.

Hot damn. Guys in suits, amiright, folks? Let’s all give a round of applause for Mad Men being so popular, thus inspiring a new wave of 60s nostalgia—which includes impeccably dressed men wearing dapper three-piece suits and gorgeous hats like our man Drizzy here.

Justin Bieber Records With Drake For Believe
At the 2010 VMAs, Bieber shared with MTV News that he wanted to get his pal on his next proper (non-holiday) album. Then, in a radio interview late last year, he confirmed that Drake, along with Kanye West, was in talks to work on Believe.
