Texas native Miranda Lambert might be feeling a little bittersweet about her record nine CMA Awards. It turns out she’s up against her fiance Blake Shelton in three categories categories. Of course, maybe she’ll just focus on the fact that she racked up the most nominations ever for a female artist in the award show’s 44-year history. And it looks like this year really will be ladies’ night—following Lambert are sales juggernauts Lady Antebellum, who are up for five CMAs.
The initial nominees for country music’s big night were announced yesterday on the CMA site, while the remaining five categories were revealed on Good Morning America this morning by Lambert and Dierks Bentley.
