Pigeon non-fans Kings Of Leon premiered their music video for new single “Radioactive” today on their official site, and it seems the quartet have put their “sex on fire” on ice this time around. The track infuses the quartet’s trademark brand of southern rock with a bit of gospel, while the video features the Followills enjoying a summer BBQ and hanging around with a choir of children.

“Gospel music was a big part of us growing up, so to be able to come back and revisit that part of our lives at this stage in our lives is a pretty special thing,” says Nathan Followill in a recent making-of-the-video clip for “Radioactive.”

Jared Followill adds, “It does have a kind of spiritual feel, for sure. It is where we came from.”

“Radioactive” is Kings Of Leon’s first single off upcoming fifth album Come Around Sundown, which is due out October 19. Just don’t expect the tune to be featured on Glee anytime soon.
