The ratings are in on last night’s Britney Spears-themed episode of Glee, and it turns out the “Circus” singer is the true Queen Of Pop—at least according to the numbers. Entertainment Weekly reports that the song-and-dance-filled hour of television averaged 13.2 million viewers. The night also brought Glee its highest ratings ever among adults 18-49 (5.8 rating/16 share), beating those for last season’s Madonna and Lady Gaga episodes. The next high-profile theme night on the series will be its October 26 Rocky Horror Picture Show episode, “The Rocky Horror Glee Show.”

Please bc the Brit Brit fans tuned in to see her on the show doesn’t make her the Queen. Madonna’s 30 year career and incomparable career speak for itself, she’ll ALWAYS be the Queen of Pop. That’s just as ignorant as saying MJ is dead so Timberlake is the King of Pop. There’s a double standard for females in music.
