If you thought “Erase Me,” Kid Cudi and Kanye West’s foray into Weezer-esque guitar rock, was cheesy, wait till you get a load of the music video. We first heard to the tune nearly four months ago, but Cudder and Yeezy are still pushing forward with the track. And, yes—that’s Cudi decked out as Jimi Hendrix and a teased-wig-wearing Christopher “McLovin” Mintz-Plasse you see there beside him. Jason Goldwatch, who previously directed Kid Cudi’s “Cudderisback” and “Soundtrack 2 My Life” clips, lensed the “Erase Me” vid. In this one, the rapper/singer and Mintz-Plasse are part of a Rolling Stones-esque rock band that stages a confetti-strewn gig.

Kanye shows up to spit out his guest rap, while scenes showing the fictitious band’s life on the road are spliced in.

At least the video adds a bit of comedy to the mix for a song that on its own just seems to be too gimmicky. And, come on—who doesn’t love a bit of McLovin?

Cudi’s Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager is due out November 9, and will be followed by West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy on November 22.
