Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is the latest pop star to join the fast-growing It Gets Better campaign. In his personal vid, the Hands All Over singer spoke out against bullying, bigotry and homophobic hate crimes targeting LGBT teens. The “Give A Little More” more songwriter gave his full support to his gay fans with the encouraging words, “Don’t let [the bullies] win. Please, don’t let them win.” Watch his sincere (and obscenity-sprinkled) video contribution below.

The recent Idolator interviewee, revealed that high school was hard on him too. Sharing, “I hated high school. High school fucking sucked, but if you can get through it there is a whole world beyond just people treating you badly.”

It was only a matter of time before the Internet has spawned an “It Gets Worse” parody video portraying a grown up bully warning that picking on people in high school only made his life crummy.
