The 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards went down on October 2 in Atlanta (flip through pics from the event) and the shindig was finally broadcast on television last night. We got to watch Kanye West’s black and white cypher segment with Common, Pusha T and Big Sean, Nicki Minaj snag awards for Rookie Of The Year, People’s Champ and the Made You Look fashion honor, (Jay-Z also earned three nods, but was a no-show) and Antoine Dodson sing a bit of of “The Bed Intruder Song.” Big Boi, B.o.B, Rick Ross and Diddy hit the stage too. Diddy, DJ Khaled and Rick Ross, who won Track Of The Year and Club Banger Of The Year, open the night with “Blowin’ Money Fast.”

Nicki Minaj wins Rookie Of The Year and says that regardless of whether her debut album Pink Friday does well or not, “I’m still paving the way for so many girls.”
