Ke$ha Halloween Costume: A How-To Guide
Pop stars and outrageous outfits go hand in hand, which makes it oh-so easy to dress up as one for Halloween. But although the costume choices might be perfect for your night of spooky partying, there’s just too many to choose from! That’s why we’ve decided to help all of you out and handpick the most iconic ensembles from the last year of pop and give you some tips on how to recreate them. Just save us a fun-size Snickers bar from your trick-or-treat bag as thanks.
Today, we’ll walk you through three different ways to be the most unshowered-looking attendee at your Halloween Ball — scroll through our Ke$ha Costume Guide below, and your Halloween party won’t start til you walk in dressed as the glitter maven.
“TiK ToK” Ke$ha:
What you’ll need:
- unwashed long hair—as braided, teased, or unbrushed as humanly possible
- a bottle of Jack Daniels (filled with iced tea) and a toothbrush
- shorts, cowboy boots, and a cut-up t-shirt
- a watch or clock you can point to and tell everyone, “The party can now start. I’m here!” as you enter each Halloween fiesta
Indian Headdress/Concert Ke$ha:
What you’ll need:
- a feathered headdress of any shape or size
- lots of body and eye glitter (remember, Ke$ha glitters up her right eye)
- shorts, fishnets, boots, and any variation on a cut-up tank top or t-shirt
- a microphone
- make sure to tell any guy with killer facial hair, “I love your beard.”
Body Paint Glitterbomb Ke$ha:
What you’ll need:
- fluorescent body paint
- a boatload of body glitter
- clothes you don’t mind destroying
- for a finishing touch, add a touch of road kill on top of your head
- no modesty whatsoever
