What’s a modern-day Christmas without pop stars releasing yuletide-themed tunes? It’s barely October and we’ve already heard Rihanna’s Island-infused “A Child Is Born” and Mariah Carey’s “Oh Santa!” from her brand new Xmas album. Now it’s Kelly Rowland’s turn to sing under the mistletoe — listen to the singer’s cheery cover of Paul McCartney’s 1979 song, “Wonderful Christmastime”, below.

Kelly Rowland – “Wonderful Christmastime”

Kelly previously got into the Christmas spirit with Destiny’s Child on their 2001 disc, 8 Days Of Christmas. As for this new tune, well, we can’t wait to hear it played on the loudspeaker ad naseum as we schlep around the mall buying last minute gifts for our loved ones!

The song will appear on Now That’s What I Call Christmas, Vol. 4, along with tunes by Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera.

Want to jam out to Kelly in a more secular fashion? Listen to her fab new dance track, “Forever Is Just A Minute Away.”
