This afternoon, Kanye West, joined by his G.O.O.D. label mates Big Sean, CyHi the Prynce, and Pusha T, spent 90 minutes on his UStream channel dropping details about his fifth studio release, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, including a first look at his multi-covered album packaging. (Yeah, the “banned” cover is still there, but that at least you have four other options to choose from.) Video and details below.

‘Ye called the song “Blame Game”, featuring John Legend, his favorite on the album, and said how special it was to him to collaborate with RZA. “It’s just amazing to be in the studio, say, with the RZA because of how much Wu-Tang affected me as a child. I just took the album as an opportunity to get close to the legends of the game. He came down not just to put beats down but to give me some inspiration.”

In addition to John Legend and RZA, the rapper (who has assembled a virtual wolf pack of eclectic artists for this album) namedropped a “bunch of legends” who are also featured, including Q-Tip, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Elton John, Fergie, and No ID. “I don’t wanna give everything away, there’s a couple of surprises on there, even with people doing their best to leak it.”

He also gave a peek at what we can expect from any and all upcoming live performances: “I’m ordering 30 ballerinas from overseas, I’ve got these all-red outfits, it’s hard out here! I’m just trying to take it to another level.”
