Over the past week Kanye West took on Today Show host Matt Lauer, Ke$ha unveiled another track from her upcoming mini album, Pink’s rendition of “Whataya Want From Me” surfaced and rumors began flying that Lady Gaga will appear in the next Muppet movie. And just how did our readers react to this blizzard of pop activity? Read on!

:: Brimeon thought Ke$ha Deals A Dance-Fueled “Blow” With Her New Cannibal Track was a breath of fresh air: “This song. Is amazing. The end.”

:: Lisa sang out on Robyn Keeps Dancing On Her Own On Jimmy Fallon: “I hope that things can pick up, but I almost think this song is too good for Top 40 radio, which is mostly a wasteland for disposable music. It’s sad that such a terrible format is the primary promotional tool for mainstream music and without it pop artists have a tough time selling anything.”

:: KanyeFan gave a love smackdown on Kanye West Vs. Matt Lauer On The Today Show—Watch The Interview: “I’m a huge West fan and with that said I feel like he completely overreacted to Lauer’s questions. I’ve seen far more brutal interviews then this there was just no reason to get so upset.”

:: Chris added the following: “Yeah i think there’s a certain amount of emotion manipulation in these interviews, but the same goes for everyone. Here’s the deal, Bush was not put on the spot in his interview, it was not live, he had the time to articulate and form reasonable responses. The same courtesy should have been given to West.”

:: Eri9 thought there was one sure fire winner on  Who Did “Whataya Want From Me” Better—Adam Lambert Or Pink?: “Pink does sing it well, and if I’d never heard Adam’s version, would love it. I love Pink and all her music–she’s extremely talented. However in this instance Adam’s version is far more powerful and emotional, in my opinion.”

:: kms agreed: “Although I am also a fan of P!nk, I think Adam’s vocals and musical nuances are more powerful and superior. Even she admitted during her performance of this song in Germany that she gave it to a guy who can sing it better.”

:: Jimmy Cotreau chimed in with the following: “I feel like P!nk robbed herself of a great hit. I think Adam did it better because he sang it first.. Idk its just one of those too close to call sides.”

:: And that brings us to the COMMENT OF THE WEEK — The zinger of the past seven days was another one courtesy of Lisa, on Lady Gaga May Appear In The Next Muppet Movie: “Maybe Kermit will wind up wearing a coat and hat made of Lady Gagas.”
