If you weren’t a fan of the simplicity and ridiculousness that was The Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps”, methinks you will want to stay away from “Do It Like This”, the BEP’s second single from their upcoming album, The Beginning. No, the song doesn’t revolve around Fergie’s lady lumps, in the back nor the front, but it’s got one of those beats that you will voluntarily bop your head to at first… only to go crazy when the song gets stuck in your head from now til eternity. Don’t fight it, folks. You won’t be able to avoid this one, so just head below and get it over with.

“This shit is terrifying – Halloween / This shit is gim-gim-gimme your queen / This means I’m the what-what-what – king,” raps will.i.am, who spends an entire verse describing what the beat (aka “this shit”) sounds like.

A bit dupstep, a lot Euro, and surprisingly low-key… at least until around the three-minute mark, the song flies completely off the rails and becomes an entirely different song with a new beat.

We actually really enjoy the Black Eyed Peas – when they’re out to make an insane, silly song to get people up on their feet, they can do just that. And though we can see this tune getting on the nerves of a select portion of the music-listening public, we can also see it becoming loved enough on the radio and in the clubs to become a hit.
