Katy Perry's Teenage Dream has been honored with multiple Grammy noms, but her album cover art deserves some recognition, too. This cheeky, elegant and yes, dreamy Will Cotton-painted portrait of Perry resting atop a pink cloud in her birthday suit is not only gorgeous, but worthy of being hung on a wall. Plus: it smells like cotton candy! No other pop artist took their album art to those extremes this year. /

You have to admit, like her music or not, that she does whatever it is she does exactly how it should be done. You know, if you like that being done to you.

No she doesn’t man. Her voice sounds like crap which is why they autotune it so it sounds like even more crap. You’d think she’d make it up with sex appeal in her lyrics, but her lyrics are sophmoric at best. Literally. “Last Friday Night” sounds like a sophmore hangover :/.
As for the cover, it’s decent pin up material but I don’t see any artistic merit beyond that. I give it a “Meh” rating.
If you want to listen to a legitimate artist that looks like Katy Perry, then go listen to Zooey Deschanel. She can actually sing pretty well :).
