M.I.A took to her Twitter account today, not to announce the phone number of another journalist that “wronged” her, but alert the world of her upcoming mix tape, Vicki Leekx. The controversial artist seems ready to put a rocky year of public fueds and poor concert performances behind her, tweeting: “vicky leekx mixtape coming new years eve! layin bad minds to rest 2010!” We’re anxious to hear what the provacative “XXXO” singer has cooked up for us, we just hope it spawns better music videos than her latest crop of overstimulating—or boring, depending upon who you ask—digital vids.
