The NAACP Image Awards nominations are out, and this year’s edition is loaded with buzzy stars: Beyonce, Jay-Z, Eminem, Rihanna, Kanye West, Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys and even lil hair whippersnapper Willow Smith are among the artists up for awards in the recording category. Elsewhere, Selena Gomez is nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children’s Program for Wizards of Waverly Place, and Justin Timberlake scored a nod for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his work in The Social Network. Maybe next year JT will have some new tunes so he can be nominated in the music category? Yeah, we’re not counting on it, either.
