Kanye West Attacks The Media For Attacking Him
Kanye West, who is no stranger to commandeering his followers’ Twitter feeds with lengthy virtual meltdowns, launched another rant last night, this time attacking MSNBC, Britney Spears fans, and the media in general. It all started with this jokey Tweet referencing his own meme, to which Britney’s manager, Adam Leber, shot back, “@kanyewest Thanks for ‘letting’ us be #1. Much appreciated.” Apparently, Britney fans and media outlets interpreted this as a slight against the pop star, and Yeezy isn’t happy they’re twisting his tweets into something he didn’t mean. Just saw that MSNBC said I tried to start a twitter war with Brittany.
This shit takes the air out my lungs sometimes from blogs to news reports… enough already!!! All I do is focus on my work.

When I said the comment about Brittney I was giving her props for being #1 not dissing her at all!
But stop making it seem that my aim is to hurt or down people! That’s just not my style!
As pop stars we’re all in this shit together! We on the inside of the TV!
If the media wants to make a story … just say I have atrocious spelling and terrible grammar…
If you don’t give em a story they just make one up. I’m just trying to focus & stay creative! Keep bringing dope shit to the world!

1) He doesn’t know that Britney Spears spells her name B-R-I-T-N-E-Y? She’s been around 12 years, man.
2) “There is no astronaut training for celebrity… even though this whole life is so outer space!” sounds like a rejected line from one of his songs, doesn’t it?
3) We’re kind of disappointed this $180,000 watch was not created out of Kanye’s desire to wear his own bedazzled face around his wrist.
4) He’s right, crazy Britney stans out there. He wasn’t dissing Britney in any way, he was just making a really dated joke at his own expense! Lighten up.
