According to the behind-the-scenes clip for Avril Lavigne’s upcoming “What The Hell” video, she had a lot of milestones this time around. Not only was it apparently the longest shoot she’s ever done (three days), it also marked her mom’s first cameo (pictured) in one of her videos and contained, according to the rockin’ Canadian songstress, “probably the most fun scene” she’s ever shot. Watch Avril make personal history after the jump. From what’s shown here, the gist of the Marcus Raboy-directed “What The Hell” vid seems to be that Avril—who’s on the run from a boyfriend she’s no longer interested in—steals a taxi, twirls through a vintage clothing store (watch for the Abbey Dawn product placement), shoots hoops with some buff dudes (this would be the “most fun scene” she mentioned) and then ends up at a concert where she stage dives while wearing a t-shirt that says (what else?) “what the hell.”

Good ol’ Avril is so jovial. And, no—we can’t believe it took three days to shoot that, either. Maybe when we finally see the finished product, it’ll contain much more mind-blowing visuals than we got a peek at here.

“What The Hell,” the Max Martin/Shellback-produced lead single from Lavigne’s upcoming fourth album Goodbye Lullaby (due out March 8), debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #13 this week.
