What did you get up to this past weekend? If your name is Britney Spears, then you spent Saturday and Sunday shooting the video for the current #1 single in the country, “Hold It Against Me.” Jonas Åkerlund, who was behind the lens for such classic clips as Madonna’s “Ray Of Light” and Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful,” is directing Brit’s vid. “Day 1 of the HIAM shoot with Jonas. Such an incredible experience. I think this will be one of the best videos I have ever done,” Spears tweeted on Saturday. Yesterday she added, “Day 2 is a wrap! #HIAM video coming soon.” This photo accompanied her tweet, and it appears to show her surrounded by dozens of microphones.

I am foolish to be excited for this video, but I soo am! Could Britney really be back? I feel like this could be the turnaround, old Britney spirit back in action, Please let this be good.
I’m surprised, Brandon. You didn’t seem too thrilled about the song in general. Her videos are usually pretty eye-popping.
Yeah ‘Hold It Against Me’ isn’t the best in my book, but sometimes a good video can increase the likability of a song, like Single Ladies, lets admit the song by itself just isn’t that great but the video added that visual flare that you associate with the song when you hear it. Thats what I’m hoping the video to HIAM does.
And I would kill to see those old school Britney In-The-Zone era dance skills. Can you blame me!? I have no rational excuse as to why I think this video will turn out better than the previous 4-5 videos, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed anyways!
