NAACP Image Award-nominated poplet Willow Smith may be dazzling the masses with high-profile photo shoots and her debut single “Whip My Hair,” but let’s face it—one hit will only get you so far. Thankfully for fans of Roc Nation’s resident tween, she tweeted the following last week: “Are you excited for my album?!(: It’s coming soon……..VERY soon!!” Hear a short clip of Willow’s upcoming single “21st Century Girl” and see if you think this pop sensation is a true star in the making. This is only a short preview of the song, but so far “21st Century Girl” sounds like a departure from the hip hop-leaning “Whip My Hair,” and more of a turn in the dance-pop direction. In fact, this seems like it would fit nicely between whatever handful of RedOne-produced jams radio is working at the moment.

From what you’ve heard so far, do you think Willow’s “21st Century Girl” has potential to be an even bigger smash?
