Chris Brown’s “Beautiful People” Single Cover Art Is A Real Gas

February 2nd, 2011 // 6 Comments

Chris Brown revealed the artwork for his new thumping dance single “Beautiful People”, but what’s exactly going on here? On the sleeve, the upcoming SNL musical guest poses in a fetal-like position, slipping on a gas mask against a canary yellow background. Because… well, maybe it’s just best to listen to the song instead of trying to analyze Brown’s intentions with this photo shoot. Jump below to jam out to the bombastic dance track.

Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi – “Beautiful People”

This is the most straight-up house/electro song we’ve ever heard from Brown. More than likely a smart move rather than attempting to rap again. We like the song, though we don’t see anything inherently “Chris Brown” about this track — it really could have been recorded by anybody with similar results.

What do you think of the perplexing single cover and the poppin’ synth-heavy number?

  1. Well… its exactly what you expect to hear on the radio right now, nothing at all striking, completely mediocre, 100% Chris Brown.

  2. The song is ok but not exactly the greatest song. To me, it’s one of the songs i’ll listen to then forget immediately after it’s over.

“it really could have been recorded by anybody with similar results.”

That goes for anything on the radio, top 10, mtv/bet, etc. Mediocre, cool song!
All of these pop singers & rappers making house/electro songs all of a sudden, are making songs over music that could be made by anyone. Because it isn’t really the words thats intriguing its the music which the Gay folks have been rockin out too for quite a while now. I mean even Enrique Iglesias has one of these songs out lol The only thing that sets this one apart is the music, which I personally like a lot better than any of the others ones I’ve heard. Pretty much this is..

    …Benny Benassi ft Chris Brown.

Its not the finished track. The song hasn’t been released yet, and this is a looped version of it.

Over analyzing photos seems rather odd. Its a cool image. I doubt he was going for anything other than getting a cool image.

Despite not being finished, its a cool club track. Sometimes a song being simple is all right.

To first commenter, where is your record deal? His 8 Grammy nominations say otherwise.
