Recently “Rolling In The Deep” songstress/Billboard cover girl Adele hit up Los Angeles venue Largo and gave a stunning performance of her 21 track “Turning Tables.” On the album, the song (co-written by Adele and Ryan Tedder) shines with a layer of powerful, heart-tugging strings. But in this intimate performance, Adele’s soulful vocals are simply accompanied by haunting piano chords.
Two weeks ago Adele’s sophomore LP debuted at #1 on the UK album chart, a position it’s been lodged at ever since. Here in the States, 21 arrives on February 22. Following that she’ll embark on a North American tour that kicks off at Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club on May 12.
