Dr. Luke Teases New Britney Spears Song “How I Roll”

It appears as if Dr. Luke, Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale album co-executive-producer, has become her official press agent. Last night the hit-making doctor tweeted out a SoundCloud snippet of yet another track set to appear on Brit’s seventh LP. Head below to hear a short clip of “How I Roll.” Luke noted that “How I Roll” is produced by Bloodshy and Avant, the Grammy-winning team behind Spears’ previous hits “Toxic” and “Piece Of Me.” (They’re also two-thirds of the band Miike Snow.)

Brit-Brit chirps here about going downtown where her posse’s at and drinking tequila on the rocks, as a dubstep synth hook and beat trot along beneath her. Not the most most original concept, but let’s give a listen.

It’s completely unfair to judge a song based on a 24-second snippet… but, let’s face it, those clips of “I Wanna Go” and “Inside Out” were just way more sticky-sweet.

Guess we’ll have to see if we can roll with the finished “How I Roll.”
