The latest song clip to be teased from Britney Spears’ upcoming album Femme Fatale (out March 29) is “The Big Fat Bass,” a collaboration with Black Eyed Peas music guru will.i.am. A snippet of the minimal, bass-heavy electro jam was posted online by Will this morning. Give it a listen below. Last week we saw a photo of Brit in the studio with will.i.am, and now we get to hear what he describes as being the intro to one of their musical collaborations. “thank you britney for collaborating it was a pleasure working with you,” he wrote on Dipdive. “thank you for trusting my instincts…you’re a doll…i look forward on working with you again…its an honor because you rarely do collaboration…im your second…”

Hmmm. As we know, Britney also partnered up with Madonna for “Me Against The Music.” But how quickly Will forgets the “Hold It Against Me” singer’s duet with Don Phillips, “I Will Still Love You,” from her very first album!

Anyway, we’re loving that early ’90s house piano intro to this clip. And the rest is certainly big, fat and bass-y. But like the recent teases of “Inside Out,” “I Wanna Go” and “How I Roll,” there’s not a whole lot to go off of here (other than the fact that Spears sounds eerily like Fergie).

Guess that’s Britney for you—always such a tease.
