Xtina is making headlines for a second day in a row—only this time it’s for less scandalous reasons! Following the news that birthday suit-wearing Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and recent Grammy winner Cee Lo Green have joined NBC’s upcoming singing competition The Voice as judges comes official word that Christina Aguilera will fill out the rest of the panel. Today Billboard quoted Paul Telegdy (executive vice president, Alternative Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios) talking about Aguilera joining The Voice: “Her journey as an artist, who started so young in the music business, will be an inspiration to the talent she coaches on the show.”

Additionally, exec producer Mark Burrnett said, “Christina has a perfect voice and is an undeniable force in the music business. She is the epitome of The Voice.”

The Voice is a spin-off of Dutch series The Voice Of Holland, which debuted last September. Perhaps NBC executives saw American Idol‘s waning ratings last season and thought they’d get a jump start before The X Factor arrives on these shores this fall. (Billboard notes that The Voice will premiere on April 26, while Season 10 of Idol is still airing.)

Our minds are boggled with trying to figure out how these three will gel, personality-wise. Given the casting of Xtina, Cee Lo and Adam, do you think you can find the mental capacity to add yet another reality TV singing competition to your viewing schedule?
