Who knew the “It Gets Better” campaign would become a musical genre in the pop world? There’s been a copious amount of new songs out recently that touch on either celebrating your individuality (Ke$ha’s “We R Who We R”, Pink’s “Raise Your Glass”) or blasting your critics who try to put you down (Sky Ferreira’s “Haters Anonymous”, Taylor Swift’s “Mean”).
