‘American Idiot’ Ending Broadway Run In April, Billie Joe Returns For Final Week

100929-green-dayAfter more than 400 performances, Green Day’s Tony and Grammy-winning Broadway musical American Idiot is closing on April 24. Ticket sales for the show skyrocketed once Billie Joe Armstrong joined the cast for several weeks, but took a major dive once he left. Some good news, though: Armstrong will be back as St. Jimmy April 4 through closing night, and the show will begin a national tour this fall. [MTV]
