‘American Idol’ Contestant Casey Abrams Discusses His Health
If you’ve been wondering about American Idol season 10 contestant Casey Abrams and what ailment he has that caused him to miss last Thursday’s show, the 20-year-old suffers from ulcerative colitis, and was out receiving a blood transfusion during the results episode, reports Entertainment Weekly. “I’m feeling really good,” Abrams, one of this season’s standout talents, said during last night’s 28th Annual PaleyFest at the Saban Theater in Los Angeles. “I thought I was actually going to make it [to last Thursday’s show] but I had to stay behind. It was fun and everyone waved at me, and I felt really supported by everyone, and I loved watching.” Let’s hope standup-bass-playing Casey’s health woes are behind him. As we’ve noted before, this competition needs him.
