We almost feel like we’re cheating on Adele, listening to John Legend’s haunting a capella cover of “Rolling In The Deep” over and over. While Mike Posner recently covered the Brit singer’s single with a pulsing electronic take, John strips it all down and makes it burst with charged emotion. As for why Legend decided to record this cover, his Twitter explains all: “I love this adele song. decided to cover it.” Good enough reason for us!
“Next up, i’ll cover rebecca black,” he tweeted shortly afterward. “I need 40 million youtube views!” We know he’s kidding, but honestly, we’d die to hear his take on “Friday”.
