Okay, okay—so by the time Britney Spears’ San Francisco pre-taped performance aired today on Good Morning America, we’d kind of seen it all before: from the same three-song medley she offered up last Friday in Vegas, to the photos and fan videos taken at Sunday’s taping of the GMA gig. Still, today was the first time we got a clear, high-quality look at Britney’s latest spectacle (which she’ll be expanding for her just-announced tour with Enrique Iglesias this summer). Britney offered few words between songs during her set at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, even when she was presented with a plaque and told that the city had officially dubbed the day “Britney Spears Day.”
At the end of the gig, she did say this to her gathering of 6,000 fans: “Thank you so much for all your love and support. You guys are beautiful. I love all of you so much. Thank you!”

What’s sad is that as far as choreography is concerned, she wasn’t even doing that much more in that performance than she is now. The main thing is that she just isn’t into it anymore. She used to OWN that stage. It was her show and she had the attitude to back it up. Now, she just looks out of place, like a scared little kitten.
Britney is just not into it anymore obviously and is stiff as a board. I saw Gaga last night and while she may be manufactured in some way there is no denying her passion and her talent. This current Britney pales in comparison
Okay u need to stop saying gaga is manufactured….cus shes not….just cus shes makes #1 hits doesnt mean shes manufactured…..lady gaga puts hard work into wat she does…she writes an co writes her music…..she produces and co produces her music…she has a vision of equality and wants everyone to feel good inside…….

Did you ever hear that rumor that Paul McCartney died in a car crash a long time ago and the record label covered it up by hiring an look-alike? I’m starting to think the same thing happened to Britney Spears. There is absolutely NO WAY this is the same woman who gave us some of the best live performances in pop music history. This woman on stage who “sings” and “dances” like she was just plucked out of the audience and just so happened to fit all the costumes (seriously, you even have to lip sync the spoken parts?) cannot be the same Britney Spears that I grew up with. There is just no way. I refuse to believe it. She has no fire, no desire, no anything inside. It’s like she’s one of those dead eyed CGI characters from The Polar Express. She’s just a mannequin going through the motions on stage like she doesn’t want to be there, and if that’s the case then by all means, stay home. Don’t subject yourself or your fans to a “performance” that even for a new artist without any prior reputation, would be horrible. And it probably wouldn’t bother me so much if everyone didn’t fawn over her like this is the best she’s ever been. I’m happy she’s doing well again and her music is still good and getting better, but when I hear someone say that “Hold It Against Me” was her best video ever…are you High? Or is this only the second Britney Spears video you’ve ever seen, right after “Gimme More”? I don’t know if K-Fed spiked the water or what, but Britney Spears is gone and her replacement, Britney Lite, is an embarrassment. I love Britney, but there is no way on earth I would pay money to go see THAT.
