It’s been a hot minute since we heard new material from American Idol‘s glam Season 6 champ Jordin Sparks. But over the weekend the video for her African Cats soundtrack ballad “The World I Knew” premiered on the Disney Channel. Head below to watch Jordin prowl around—as well as some gorgeous lions and cheetahs in their natural habitat—in her new clip. “I can’t wait just to see another day if it means just one more day that I’m with you,” Sparks sings on the booming chorus of “The World I Knew.” The video shows the 21-year-old walking around a set rendered to look like an African landscape by digital effects.

Meanwhile, clips from Disney’s upcoming documentary African Cats (out Aprill 22, i.e. Earth Day) are edited in. Now, don’t get us wrong—we love us some Jordin Sparks. But it’s the big cats who really steal the show here. (And, being softies, something tells us this movie is going to require at least a few readily-handy Kleenex to get through.)

Bravo, Disney, for playing the cuddly feline cub card and getting us to watch this video on repeat.
