Following a dramatic tease, Lupe Fiasco’s Sanaa Hamri-directed video for “Words I Never Said,” his politically-charged second single off Lasers, is here. The chart-topping MC voices up about the ills of society he sees all around him, only to be dragged off to a high-tech prison. Well, it’s not so high-tech that Lupe can’t bust out at the end and take down a few guards with some fancy martial arts moves in the process! Watch below. Alex Da Kid handles production work on “Words I Never Said” while his protege Skylar Grey (“I Need A Doctor”, “Love The Way You Lie”) sings the chorus. Sadly, Skylar doesn’t appear in the video. Or maybe she does? She’s been such a mysterious recluse until recently, she could be playing one of the extras and who would ever know?

At least we know she’ll be showing her face at Lollapalooza this summer.

What do you think of Lupe’s outspoken views and button-pushing visuals presented in the “Words I Never Said” video? Glenn Beck and President Obama both get zinged in the clip.

Do you think Fiasco makes a good point with his latest offering?
