Kanye’s on a festival tear these days — after performing at Lollapalooza Chile, South By Southwest and Coachella, the rapper will perform at the 2011 Essence Music Festival alongside other big names in R&B, funk and soul: Jennifer Hudson, Trey Songz, Mary J. Blige, Fantasia and Boyz II Men (!!!) are also featured on the three-day lineup. The fest takes place July 1-3 in New Orleans, and there’s no better way to start celebrating America’s independence than by listening to Boyz II Men bust out some 90s love ballads live in person.
