Beyonce’s new single “Run The World (Girls)” might have faltered thus far with fans and on the charts, but we’re pretty sure America still has a soft spot for the dance-promoting diva. Bey recorded her version of Lee Greenwood’s patriotic tune “God Bless The USA”, and all proceeds from the sale of the song will be donated to the New York Police and Fire Widows’ And Children’s Benefit Fund. Listen to Beyonce go red, white and blue below.

The fashionable singer first performed “God Bless The USA” during President Obama’s campaign back in 2008. A studio version was recorded but never released until now. We suppose a little thing like the death of Osama Bin Laden had something to do with them finally releasing it.

Not surprising in the least, Beyonce sounds great. Now where’s the dance remix?

The singer’s version of the American classic will premiere tonight on Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN and be available for download on iTunes and Bey’s official site tomorrow.

What do you think? Is this a better Osama’s death anthem than Miley’s “Party In The USA”?
