Lil Wayne, Drake, And Rick Ross Join DJ Khaled On “I’m On One”
Considering that all DJ Khaled does is win, it seems unnecessary to even weigh in on what we think about his latest track “I’m On One.” Certainly the well-connected producer could do worse than tap the soon-to-be-unplugged Lil Wayne and the Sprite-ly Drake to appear on his new record (both of whom he has partied with recently). So has the forever-triumphant DJ learned any humility since his last major hit? Head below to hear “I’m On One” for the answer.
“All I care about is money and the city that I’m from / I’mma sip until I feel it, I’mma smoke until it’s done,” Drake sings on the nihilistic, downbeat jam.
It’s a totally listenable effort — but if all these guys do is win, why does everyone on this track sound so depressed?
