Fox has announced its plans for its off-season American Idol-ish singing competition, The X Factor. The performance night of Simon Cowell’s import will be 90 minutes long on Wednesdays at 8 p.m., and the results show will be an hour long on Thursday nights. The X Factor will premiere in September, and will no doubt feature at least one contestant who tried and failed to make it on the bevy of other televised singing competitions currently available on the market.
In the title instead of “hours” it should be “minutes” unless the x-factor is going to run for 6 days straight

I think it was horrific how people were treated at the X FACTOR auditions. We were toldthat the first two groups sent in were GROUPS & DUETS. The VOCALISTS were made to stay out in the Hot Sun. An ambulance was called for a woman who got heat stroke. We were bitten up by BUGS inside and outside. I’m on my way to the doctor because the bumps are getting worse. And by the way, Simon, if you were only looking for GIRL/BOY bands, why the HELL did you ask for VOCALISTS. You are WRONG, Simon.
THOUSANDS OF VOCALISTS WERE IN THE HOT SUN FOR 5+ hours. The VOCALISTS were USED to make the Video. That’s wrong SIMON COWELL. Why didn’t you tell us the truth and let the VOCALISTS come much later. Wrong and Wrong.
