The Internet is currently abuzz with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way being released to the world earlier than expected, and if you thought Gagz was going too deep into the 80s and 90s with her last few releases, you need to listen to “Heavy Metal Lover” now. The track must be the most futuristic synth-trance tune to ever be associated with heavy metal. Track below, via Tumblr.
“I want your whiskey mouth all over my blonde south,” starts Gaga. Wow.
More like “House Music Lover”, no? The subdued — almost mellow, even — tone of this ethereal track really puts a contrast on the energetic uber-positive pep of other Born This Way singles like “Hair” and “The Edge Of Glory”. And the “ooh” refrain on the chorus has got to be one of the eccentric hatmaker’s most infectious hooks.
Put your paws up if you’re digging “Heavy Metal Lover”, little monsters!
Reminds of Big Fat Bass repeating the same thing over and over and in a different voice as well.

This track is RIDICULOUS…… I can’t believe how GaGa has been able to take over the Trance world, let alone the Metal world, all in the same damn song. She’s clearly the most talented artist that exists. 98% of the Billboard Top 100 don’t't write their own s*** let alone design their clothing, staging, direction of advertising, videos, etc…. so non-Monsters can BLOW ME

Out of everything we’ve heard from this album, this song is one of the best cuts. It’s far superior to any of the tracks that have been released as singles.
Love it! The whole album (pretty much) is wonderful. She really pulled a fast one over the last few months though. The singles she’s released from it so far are the least representative of the album as a whole. Surprise!!

I love something that has a strong beat, could really care less for electronic-sizing voices, but this has to be the best I have heard from her in awhile. I think she is weird and have repeatedly mentioned strait-jackets are needed instead of chains and shoes for her. She should released this instead of ‘Born This Way’.

Finally a song off of Born This Way I can actually listen to more then once. There is something refreshing about this song that I really enjoy, still not a fan of the other 6 i’ve heard and probably won’t buy the album, but this one is a true mastepiece.

ONE SONG on her new album was written by herself, the same with her last outputs. Lady is no more talented then your average model/singer/actress that are popped out and done every few years or so.

The song is CALLED “heavy metal lover”, it is not metal and doesn’t claim to be. It’s a song about mindless sex, much like lady gaga’s earlier stuff. Her voice sounds different in this though..
I think her song writing is nothing like it used to be. “Oooh.. ooh.. ooh… ooh…” – creative.
