Lady Gaga Is Goin’ To The “Electric Chapel” On New Pop-Metal Track

If you want Lady Gaga you’re going to have to meet her at the electric chapel, she declares on “Electric Chapel.” Like “Marry The Night,” this Born This Way track premiered on FarmVille. We first heard a full minute of the instrumental version of metal-leaning “Electric Chapel” a couple weeks ago in her Gagavision No. 44 video. (And unlike “Heavy Metal Lover,” this song actually boasts a glossy, metal-like edge.) Now head below to rawk to the full shebang, Little Monsters! “Follow me, don’t be such a holy fool / follow me, I need something sacred from you / together we’ll both find a way to make it pure, love, work in a dirty way,” Gaga sings on “Electric Chapel,” once again blurring the lines between love, sex and religion.

We have to admit, between this jam and “Marry The Night,” we’re liking the album tracks off Born This Way much better than the actual singles! Who knew FarmVille was the place to be?

Of course, the ominous hard rock guitar riffs are a bit of a tease and Gaga never really gets her Lita Ford on, vocally. Still, there’s something to be said for strong album tracks that stray from the norm rather than act as paint-by-numbers filler.

What do you think, Little Monsters? Will you be praying at the electric chapel, or do you like your Gaga more with a pop tip?
