You may have thought Lady Gaga’s shout-out “You’re Lebanese!” in her Born This Way title track might’ve won her some favor with actual Lebanese people, the pop star’s chart-topping album has been banned in the Middle Eastern country. Lebanon has prohibited the sale of the LP, claiming that it is “offensive to Christianity” and exudes “bad taste”. It’s not all bad for Gaga outside the U.S., though – Born This Way debuted at #1 in over 20 countries, and the Italian-American singer will perform at EuroPride 2011 in Rome this weekend.
