Alicia Keys might have her own wax statue, but there ain’t nothing like the real thing. The pianist/songwriter celebrated the 10th anniversary of her astounding debut album, Songs In A Minor, with a enthralling concert at at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Dressed in sparkly black and surrounded by gothic candelabras, “Piano & I: A One Night Only Event With Alicia Keys” featured performances of songs from her debut LP, as well as covers of Mary J. Blige’s “Real Love”, Tupac’s “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” and Billy Joel’s “New York State Of Mind” (which transitioned right into “Empire State Of Mind”, of course). Stream the entire live event below.
