Beyonce’s 4 dropped 63% in sales in its second week out, but let’s look on the bright side – that was still enough to keep the beautiful music video bride in the top position on Billboard‘s Top 200. Elsewhere on the charts, Selena Gomez and her Scene climb up a spot, Lloyd’s dedication to his ex lands him a Top 10 debut, and Adele isn’t going anywhere.
In the past week, Beyonce sold over 100k more units, bringing her total sales for two weeks at 422,000. We’d love to see Bey hold tight at #1 for at least two more weeks, just so she could add another lucky “4″ reference to her list.
And apparently there are still people out there who do not yet own Adele’s 21, as the British soul sister was able to sell 80k more albums, bringing her year-to-date total being over 2.6 million.
R&B singer Lloyd made his Top 10 debut with King of Hearts, which means he can now afford to go buy himself some high-end soap to wash his mouth out with after performing his NSFW single “Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)”.
Debuting in the Top 50 for the first time ever are American Idol Season 10 faves Haley Reinhart and James Durbin, whose EPs charted at #35 and #38, respectively. Perhaps the entire Durbin-friendly town of Santa Cruz bought a copy of his album?
The Top 10 of Billboard’s Top 200 chart:
1. Beyonce, 4 *2 weeks*
2. Adele, 21
3. Selena Gomez & The Scene, When The Sun Goes Down
4. Jason Aldean, My Kinda Party
5. Bad Meets Evil, Hell: The Sequel
6. Jackie Evancho, Dream With Me
7. Jill Scott, The Light Of The Sun
8. Lady Gaga, Born This Way
9. Lloyd, King Of Hearts *new*
10. Big Sean, Finally Famous

Beyonce, enjoy it while you can! Adele is moving back on top next week!
Damn CONGRATS bey! You deserve it- true talent -true soul -and a true voice.
Adele-step aside for the Queen Of Soul. She needs her spotlight back.
you mean the queen or boredom? i think Adele won’t mind giving the spotlight back – she probably didn’t want it in the first place – But please, leave true talent, true soul and true voice out of this, especially in the context of Adele.
Who is still buying 21? Seriously? What is going on??? I want to see some receipts.
“Why” user….Check your mom, cause she probably bought plenty!!! U DEEP !”#!#¤”¤#
I think Adele’s 21 had more depth than any of Beyonce’s ballads on 4. Fact check!
i love b. and 4 is really good.
21 is a great album….. I dont like beyoce 4 songs..plus she is a copycat
mantolama boyası
I’m the biggest Beyonce fan in the world and even I think that “4″ could have been much better than what we got. That CD is just ok. People are just buying it to add to the Beyonce collection.
