Now that The X Factor has snatched Nicole Scherzinger as their Cheryl Cole replacement, somebody’s got to replace Scherzy’s judging duties on NBC’s a capella competition The Sing Off. The lucky lady filling Nic’s spot will be “Love Song” singer Sara Bareilles, who will appear on the judges’ panel next to Boys II Men’s Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds. “A cappella music is very near and dear to my heart, and I have been a huge fan of the show from the beginning,” Bareilles said in a statement. “I love the opportunity to be a part of something that celebrates a genre of music that I just adore and believe in.” The show returns on September 19.
