Chris Brown has already dropped two freestyle tracks this week that take his sound in a rawer rap direction than we usually associate him with, so it comes as no surprise that these aren’t just one-offs he recorded for no reason, but part of a larger project — a mixtape that will drop later this year called Boy In Detention. Revealed via Twitter, the mixtape will drop before Breezy’s next official studio LP, his follow-up to F.A.M.E. Few details are known yet, so we can only assume some version of his “Real Hip Hop” tracks will find their way onto Boy In Detention.
